A quiet interior prepared for time at the chalet

A clearer way to share

Shared chalet ownership

A place to return to, season after season.

Your path to shared ownership

Four steps before you decide.

Each step is designed to make the place, calendar, costs and documents easier to review.

Explore properties

Find the place

Compare the candidate properties and choose the one that fits how you want to stay.

Agree on time and shared decisions

Set the use rules, preferred periods and how property decisions would be made.

Understand the full cost

See recurring charges, property expenses, stay services and optional extras separately.

Review before joining

Study the property dossier and proposed agreements before making a commitment.

A practical view

What’s yours. What’s shared. What’s taken care of.

Time at the chalet. Decisions made together. Care coordinated around your stays.

Your time

Your time, planned through a shared calendar. Your preferences guide stay preparation. Dates, guests and cancellations follow the shared rules.

01What you would ownYour share and ownership agreement

Your proposed property interest

The project is about owning a share of a chalet for your own stays. The proposed share concerns the chalet, not shares in the company that operates CoChalet. The ownership structure, title and agreement are still being defined. Review the final documents before making a commitment.

02Costs, care and bookingShared responsibilities, costs and stays

CoChalet’s role

The planned service brings together arrival preparation, groceries, meals and activities, with maintenance coordination and a contact for questions. Confirm the services, equipment, responsibilities and prices before each arrangement.

Owners’ responsibilities

Share property decisions and costs, follow the agreed use rules and report concerns. Owners remain responsible for their share of upkeep and unexpected property expenses, even when care is coordinated.

Booking rights and services

Booking rights come from the shared-calendar agreement, not from buying services. Optional extras would not increase booking priority. Peak periods, guests, cancellations and availability would follow the agreed rules.

What each payment covers

The cost schedule separates recurring charges, stay-related charges and optional purchases.

Property costs
Acquisition and ordinary shared property expenses.
Reserves and extraordinary costs
Provision for future work and exceptional expenses.
Preparation and management
Agreed charges for the property’s ongoing preparation or management.
Stay-service packages
Selected services associated with a stay, subject to the agreed package terms.
Goods
Goods and any agreed shopping, preparation, handling or delivery charges would be itemized before confirmation, showing which services are already included in a package.
Optional extras
Additional services or experiences you choose, with scope and cost confirmed.

The property-specific schedule would identify initial work and furnishings, and show what the agreed entry arrangements already include. The same item or work would not be charged twice. Ask Justin what is included, what costs extra and when payments would be due.

03Exit and disagreementTransfers, disagreements and exit costs
